How it works

Customer places an order
At the online seller's checkout, an option appears: pick up at a pickup location for a few dollars, if one is registered in the area.

The pickup location receives it
The online seller ships it to the pickup location instead of the customer's home, cutting out the last-mile run out to an individual address. It's just a short stop, a temporary storefront, until the customer collects it.

Picked up nearby
The customer gets notified and picks up whenever it suits them. Free foot traffic for the pickup location, at no cost to join.
Closer means better
The shorter the trip between online seller and customer, the better for everyone. Less time on the road, a smaller footprint, and a lower cost per delivery. Storepairing routes every order to the nearest available pickup location, cutting travel distance (and often delivery time) as much as the network allows.
If it's not picked up
A delivery left unclaimed for 5 days is flagged, and after 10 days it's returned to the online seller, which is plenty of time for a customer to swing by within opening hours.
An option alongside home delivery
Pickup location delivery is something an online seller can offer their customers as an extra choice at checkout, not a replacement for home delivery and not a requirement. Home delivery stays exactly as it is; picking a nearby pickup location is simply there for customers who'd rather grab their order on their own schedule than wait on a doorstep delivery.

Get your temporary storefront when needed: delivery closer to your customer, less travel for everyone. An online seller gets a local presence without opening a physical location, a pickup location gets new faces in the door, in person when they collect an order, and again later once they know where to find you, and what you sell or offer.
Who's behind this
Storepairing is operated by Foresight ehf. We handle real customer contact details (names, phone numbers, addresses) to make deliveries work. Full contact details are only visible to staff who need them for that purpose. Everyone else sees them masked, not left open to whoever happens to be logged in.

FAQ
How much does pickup cost?+
$5 maximum, charged to the online seller per delivery. Never to the pickup location, and never a monthly fee to either side. What an online seller charges their own customer at checkout is up to them. Actual price is $1 to $5, depending on area of operation.
What do I need to register?+
A working email, a legal contact person, and a legal/business registration number with a link to the official registry entry. Online sellers also need a website; pickup locations also need an address and photos of the location. Both go through a short review before going live, whether registered separately or together on one account.
Is there a contract or lock-in?+
No. Registration is free for both sides, and there's no minimum term. Stop using it whenever you want.
How is customer data handled?+
Only what's needed to complete a delivery is collected. Full customer contact details are masked by default and only visible to staff who need them for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
